Judy DezsoJudy's passion for music and the stage started early. Art song solos in sixth grade and musical talent shows in middle school led to voice lessons and ultimately a gig as a jazz vocalist for two years in clubs on the Cocoa Beach Strip in Florida. Turning down a voice scholarship in college ended her operatic leanings, however. The musical comedy stage had a much stronger appeal, with roles such as Julie Jordan in "Carousel," and Guenevere in "Camelot." Singing and silliness on stage is as good as it gets when Judy is not working as an English tutor! |
