Sharon MeskerSharon Mesker began her stage career late in life ( 65 yrs), having first appeared 10 years ago in Unity's production of Mame, followed by appearances in Hello Dolly, The Music Man and Oliver, also at Unity. She went on to appear in Chameleon's productions of Joseph, Jekyll & Hyde and Guys and Dolls. When not on stage, Sharon is back-stage helping with props, costumes, etc.Years ago, Sharon convinced her son, Michael Mesker, to appear in Unity's production of Hello Dolly (his first time ever on stage). He has since gone on to be an outstanding actor/singer and has appeared in more than 35 theater productions with almost every theater company on the central coast. She is in awe of Michael's talents and says "Being on stage with my son, Michael, has been one of the biggest thrills of my life!" Like mother, like son! |
